Hmm I remember that now that you mention it. The same is in the 120 or 130
manual. That is why I never bothered to take them out except when hard
reseting (not to mention I always thought that the newt *might* erase the
card as well as the internal).

Perhaps some cards are different than others? Most of the cards I have are
Apple branded, although I do have a couple of others and I know I have reset
with those in place and no problems. But I have never used any pretec cards
though.
