No, it should be the same. Of course you need some sort of DIN-8 (goes
into the dongle on Newton side) to DB-9 adapter (PC side), but those are
fairly standard in the Mac world. With one of my Newtons, I even got one
of those cables that has the Newton specific plug on the one side and a
DB-9 plug on the other side. The only significant difference between
DIN-8 and DB-9 is the wiring.
