Re: [NTLK] Why did Apple use a serial dongle?

I did a quick search for the NIP connectors, and like I thought - they
are no longer manufactured by JAE or stocked by KEI (at least not on
their web site). I was able to get a few from a member of the NewtonTalk
mailing list.=20

I also ran across what I think are similar connectors on the JAE site,
the DA1 Series are the only 26 pin connectors that manufactured in the
same connector type. It is hard to tell from the drawings the exact
width of the 26 pin connectors. I also thought because of the unique
shape of the NIP connector (the bottom corners) these might not fit.

Does anyone have any insight on these connectors? It would be great to
still be able to get connectors in large quantities.
