Don't get a *CHEAP* AC adapter unless you really don't like your eMate
and want to fill your abode with the delightful scent of fried components.
You need a regulated adapter and you'll probably find they cost as much
as the real Apple 9W adapter.
Watch eBay and you might be able to pick up a cheap MP100 with the 7W
adapter for $10-$30. You can use that adapter with the eMate (it'll just
take a little longer to charge) and you'll have a second Newt to play with.
There's a 7W adapter on eBay now with a BIN of $12.50 _ probably cheaper
than a killer piece of junk from Radio Crap.
