Many moons ago on this list or its predecessor there was a tip about
using the Mars-Staetdler White Plastic eraser for this, I bought a pack
of 4 and still have 2 of them around, One lives in the big pocket of my
Rip-Offs case. It doesn't do for writing at a high angle, but is
beautiful with a keyboard or as a shallow tilt stand. I also suggest to
non-newt friends that I use it to erase mistakes.
