Thanks for all the suggestions..
Unfortunately, I had already tried all of them myself. I have a new
location with only Ethernet selected and at the top of the list.
Still, Appletalk over Ethernet will not turn on. Has anyone got a
PowerBook with Airport card with it working? If so, please drop me an
email off list.
