no, it isn't working yet, just as before. But I had a closer look at it.
It basically consists of four Intel Flash chips E28F016SA.
These are 16 Mbit, giving it a total of 64 Mbit or 8 MByte. So
even if I can get it to work, it will not provide more ROM than the
original ROM daughterboard.
Speaking of it: I couldn't find anything about the two chips on the original
daughterboard in the internet. They were made by Sharp and are
labeled LHME5BT3 and LHME5BT4. Anyone out there have a datasheet
for these beasts?
When I get my eMate back, I will try the board in there.
