The backup batt.(round button batt.) in the MP120 and the capacitor in
MP2x00 only retains pen alignment, date and real time clock.

I have MP120's with no batts. stored for years, just add batts. and
data/pkgs. are still there, but have to align pen and reset date and time.

battery for it. My main batteries had run dry, but after a full charge, I
