i also use the USB PDA keyspan adapter. It sounds like you don't have
the Keyspan driver installed. To use it in classic, you actually need
to have it installed in classic. I have it both in classic and in OS X.
There should be an option that reads "Keyspan USB DB9" If it's not
there I'd guess that it's a driver issue.
