I believe this is part of Jaggie folklore already (although not in
NewtWiki...yet) - you can check the archive for the archaelogical record.

Why does the card cause the problem? Best guess (in my estimation) is that
the pressure of the card in the slot effects the touchscreen connection.

Try the card in the other slot to see if that makes a difference.
