I tried it with the main preferences list (security, local, etc) on the
screen (that's what you meant, right?), but no effect. Any other tricks
for getting a balky memory card to open up?
I thought these cards were pretty fool-proof! arrggh.
I had backed it up a week ago, but I had some notes from an interview
that I hadn't downloaded yet. I am kicking myself. But thanks for the
suggestion, Woody. The intermittent nature of your problem gives me
some hope that if I just keep trying, it might work long enough to
rescue my data.
