[NTLK] owner info question

I recently inherited a Newton from my sister (she doesn't use it any more) and she purchased a bunch of registrations for some software. My question is this... is there anyway I can change the owner information to my name and still be able to use the software that she purchased or will I have to keep switching owners when I want to use the software that she purchased?
