Thank you Robert! That was exactly the problem. In the prefs panel, I was still using the WaveLan card to communicate over AppleTalk. I never thought to look in prefs. There are so many places where things can be changed depending on your connection type (Internet Setup, Prefs, Owner Info) It's a lot to remember!
