It can be a waste (or rather an expense) if your Newt has little heap to
spare. As for my capacious MP2100... there's lots of room for the
superfluous display of entertaining pixelated artforms. By the way, if
you're looking for a way to free up even more memory than simply using
extras as you backdrop, try installing a low-rent replacement backdrop
app like FreeBack.
