I have a Etherlink III card from 3com (3C589D-TP). I believe this card
should work and it does not. I have both pkg installed as noted on the
Newton Resources webpage. What happens is that the Newton does not
recognize the card (a slip does not appear when I plug in the card, but
the cord's led lights up. Once I ask the newton to print and find the
networked printer I get a chooser error. Does this card not work with
the Newton? Anybody have an idea what is wrong? thanks jf
