Guess I exaggerated a bit too much to get the point across ;-)
WIFI will drain your batteries the fastest of anything you can do with
your Newt, but that doesn't mean it will do it within 5 minutes.
Moreover, you could replace the rechargeable batteries in your Newt
with higher capacity ones of course...
