Now I have opened two windows for tcpdump. One for en0 and one for en1.
If I start delivery in RendezVous mode i get these lines only on en0:
13:27:17.282928 10.0.2.1.5353 > 224.0.0.251.5353: udp 55 [ttl 1]
13:27:17.283042 10.0.2.1.5353 > 224.0.0.251.5353: udp 55 [ttl 1]
13:27:17.283150 10.0.2.1.5353 > 224.0.0.251.5353: udp 55 [ttl 1]
...
If i press connect on the Newton side i get these lines on en1:
13:29:26.705343 10.0.2.2.5353 > 224.0.0.251.5353: udp 41 [ttl 1]
13:29:26.722832 10.0.2.2.5353 > 224.0.0.251.5353: udp 41 [ttl 1]
13:29:27.691654 10.0.2.2.5353 > 224.0.0.251.5353: udp 41 [ttl 1]
...
It looks like Delivery tries to answer, but on en0.
