I have found that the WallStreet PB's don't like crossover cables for some
reason. They work fine with other Macs.

I have a WS and it will only work with a 10BT hub. This then allows a
connection from an Ethernet card or from a Localtalk device with a HW bridge
like the Farallon iPrint.

A small hub is now very cheap and enables a complete network.
