Yes to both.

I've tried filing the various packages in Extensions and Setup as suggested
(and I located Newton Devices as well), but still no joy. The Newt simply
seems unable to locate my Mac.

Anyone else had this problem with a 3Com 3CCE589ET? I seem to recall Frank
having trouble with one ... ?
