Looks like the previous models acted like a SRAM memory card, but the
last one, the rex 6000, is recognized as a regular modem.
Indeed, it makes a nice companion to the Newton. I've been able to
send some commands to it with a terminal program, but that's all. The
protocol is more or less available on the net, but I think we already have
enough work supporting a dead platform, forget about two!
