Same here, read/reply anywhere.
Due to my job and board position on a non-profit org. I have a routine that
borders on insanity...

1. Use 'MailWasher' on Win.98 to filter spam...
2. Download 'copy' of all emails onto Win.98/OE due to 'first archive' and
so many Word/Excel/PDF attachments...
3. Download 'copy' of all emails to MacOS9/iMac/Eudora due to 'second
archive' and so many Word/Excel/PDF attachments...
4. Download and delete from mail server onto my Newt. to read/reply while
walking the dog from 2-4 am, using EnRoute's easy POP List Manager and
downloading with SimpleMail any HTML/jpg'ed emails with Newtscape...
5. Download myself onto bed to sleep at 5:30 am, wakeup at 9:30-11 am and
repeat...oh yeah, rinse too. :-o
