I NEVER said anything about it being moraly right or wrong. just because a tool is created doesnt mean that someone wont use it in a way the creator had not planned on. i dont believe that guns kill people, people kill people. just because the gun can be used to kill a person doesnt mean that it has to be used for that. when the internet was first created they only thought it was going to be used on the one campus and it would benefit them in transfering information to and form each other. i am sure they had no idea it would be used to pass porn and viruses and any other perverse thing you can find out there. the tools are used by each person for their own benefit good, bad or indeifferent. like i said i didnt want to get into this argument because like so many other things in life its personal preference, plain and simple. Sorry -- disagree. It's theft of intellectual property, and it is
wrong. I admit I do it too but I don't try to justify it by pretending
it's okay.

The technology to pick locks, crack safes, and murder people has been
created and is out there also. I don't consider these activities
subject to personal discretion about whether they are morally
acceptable.
