I have read the faq and a maze of other websites, but I cannot figure
this one out. I cannot get TCP/IP to work with anything other that
Newt Sync. Newt Sync only sends information from the Newt to my
address book and not the other way. It also cannot handle repeating
events in iCal.
I can't get my Orinoco wireless card to work at all with TCP/IP.
SimpleMail and web-surfing work fine. I DO have Kallisys' TCP/IP dock
extension installed. Escale does not work with it either.
BTW, I am using a mac running OS 10.2.6. and I have turned the firewall
off in my system preferences. My wireless router is a d-link 614+.
When I try to connect an IP address is given, the Newt sees my computer
and tries to connect in port 3679. I tap connect and a window pops up
stating "could not reach the server".
Can someone please help with this?
thanks,
...........karl
