I am in the process of figuring out SimpleMail using a PC Card modem in
my upgraded MP2000. The modem is a 56K US Robotics XJ5560. Of the
drivers that were on the MP, only the "14.4 Alternate 2" driver works.
 Are there other drivers available that will make use of the full data
rate of the modem? Would it make any difference in how quickly email
can be downloaded?
