Thanks for your reply and I have made the changes you suggested but to no
apparant avail
The set up is as follows
TG4 running Panther with classic 9.2 underneath
The 2100 seems to have the required software in that it has a 3Com card
3CXE589EC and the drivers installed plus a cat 5 cable
When I insert card it shows up on the newt and I have ticked the apple talk
button as suggested.
I have tried to see the card from within Classic and Panther
What I am not sure about is will I be able to see the device on the TG4 desktop
after I have configured the prefs for ethernet appletalk etc.
There are so many settings in Panther I am not sure if I changing too many or
not enough.
Is there some where were I can put in nodes and network info into the Newt that
I am missing?
I would appreciate any help you can give

Thanks
Mike Joslin
