It is supposed to come with a cable that terminates in a DB-9 connector, as
well as an adapter that plugs into the DB-9 and has a miniDIN-8 on the other
end for Macs (and Newtons).

The adapter is a DB-9M to miniDIN-8M and I get the impression that they are
rather hard to find unless you make your own.
