I am assuming that you're referring to a Newton 120 that has been upgraded to
the 2.0 Operating System? The advantages of the 130 (which came w/ 2.0) over
a 120 w/ the old 1.3 OS are too numerous to count; although 1.3 is still kewl
(recent 2.0 convert myself)...

Outside of the backlighting AND the ability to rotate the screen display to
show the info horizontally, the 130 also offers more memory space & the ability
to receive faxes. Here are the basix differences:
