I've found that for nasty messes on screens, the spray on works better. You can spray a bit on and let it sit and then removes the mess with those great Kleer screen cloths.
That's why I recommended the spray over the pads in this case.
Of course none of this would have been necessary if the crayoned Newt had been protected with a NuShield in the first place. ;-)
