I was looking over my log entries in my URLScan log
and am seeing quite a few issues with the IP:
67.164.114.200
This seems to be a Comcast user and has had this IP
for several days...most likely they no longer have it
anymore, but it seems to be a person on this list with
a bad URL...probably wrongly entered in a web page.
Here is my error log entry:
[Sat, Oct 25 2003 - 23:05:30] Client at
67.164.114.200: URL contains sequence ':', which is
disallowed. Request will be rejected. Raw

You see the improperly coded http section?
I'm also seeing:

Again, this seems to be improperly coded also. Most
likely this is due to a badly written page or a really
ignorant spider...
This has been happening over the course of the last
several days since October 23rd.
Anyone who uses Comcast and recently coded some links
to some of my stuff, please check your code and see if
you were one of those who are having problems.
After looking at my web logs, (for the 26th) I see
that the user is:
NetHopper/3.2+(Newton)
And then later on in the day, I see:
Mozilla/4.0+LunaSuite/2.1+OS...and it looks like the
user is a MP2x00 user with patch version: 2.1-(717260)
The connections using LunaSuite seem to be OK, only
the connections using NetHopper have problems it
seems.
So, probably someone having troubles with their
browser book marks...
Let me know if it's you. Perhaps there is some issue
on my end...
