[NTLK] Weird MP 130

Hi there.
I have a MP130 German and I can't install packages on it. So I tried to
make a Cold Boot to reset the Newton.
I did the following:

    * 1. Disconnect any AC power.
    * 2. Remove the main batteries.
    * 3. Remove the round Lithium backup battery.
    * 4. Let the Apple MessagePad sit this way for 15 minutes.

The problem is, that only the Systempatch has been remove. My Owner
Information is still there.
Any Ideas?

Next I Brainwiped the Newton and now all data seems to be gone, at last
I hope so. Does somebody have an Idea what's wrong with this Unit?
