Me too!
------------------
>Left Pleasant Hill California
>about 1900 arriving in Palo Alto's Printer Inc. Cafe arriving about 2000

Left Long Beach at 3:44 pm, arriving at Printer's Inc. at 10:24 pm. 420
miles.
------------------
>thinking what am I doing here!

I let my Newts 'think' for me.
------------------
>All these people are way above my head but I proceeded to park and went in.

Yeah, most attendees were 'taller'. :-o
But Robert had lots of Newton-enhanced energy.
------------------
>I observed a group of people with a few Newtons laid out on the table and
approached them and said "is this the SNUG meeting? and I'm Robert Serna
aka. japecan_at_comcast.net and please don't intimidate me"

I just walk in and let my Newts. do the talking. ;-)
------------------
>What a friendly group of people,
>made me feel right at home.

Just like our LANUG meetings.
------------------
>Then meet Adam and C.J. (who came in with the cracked screen).

Meeting Adam was great, still newting.
You mean C.J. wasn't the only one that 'cracked'?...oh, his Newt's screen.
:-D
------------------
>I also gave away sealed copies of Silicon Casino (and the leftover copies
for Woo's group in Los Angeles!)

I gave out 'samples' of NuShields, and yes LANUG'ers, I'll door-prize each
copy of S.C.
------------------
>C.J. needed to borrow a flash
>card so I went to my car and broke my key trying to get in (yes that's my
key
>in the picture) thank goodness for magnetic key holders or I would of been
>stuck 62 miles away!!!

A little 'too' excited? :-o
------------------

>Woo started to unpack his bag and laid out all his Newtons, flashcard and
etc

Yup, it was fun unloading.
------------------
>Woo started to open his
>Newton up with his trusty swiss army knife right their on the park bench!

Took me about two minutes, with the help of my fingernails too.
------------------
>This man is amazing as we all looked in awe of this person. He showed us
the inner of the Newton with Ser-001 card and accelerated board in place,
yes he has a ser-001 in all his Newtons.

Every LANUG meeting we do this. :-)
------------------
>Everybody seemed to be leaving about 2300 and I finally left at 0001 after
saying goodnight to Woo,

Yup, I tried to keep everybody longer, but it was a weekday.
------------------
>I have to get up @0530 to go to Magic Mountain the next day.

..and you thought I was crazy??? ;-)
------------------
>When I got home about 0100 I noticed that my bag was kinda heavy so I
check it out and guess what? I have one of Woo's
>Newton! I called him up and he said thank goodness.

Yup, it was my 'Database' Newt. Had sooo much fun I lost track of my Newts.
------------------
>All in all I really had a nice time made friends and received an
acclerated Newton( just kidding Woo I'm
>sending it out tomorrow,.) and can't wait for the next one. I really
think
>that everyone should had this experience and don't worry about the over my
head
>phrase.........

Every 'NUG Meeting has been great, from our LANUG to WASHNUG and now SNUG.
Hopefully I can make it to every group's meeting at least once. :-)
------------------
>Robert M. Serna

Thanks Robert, for the fun, S.C.'s, and taking...

..'care' of one of my Newts. :-D
