Same here, without my Newt. it's 50 lbs. of paperwork.
My 'work' will pay for the Clie's(my sister needed something smaller than a
Newt, so she got a TG50, but still uses her eMate) but having one is not
the same as using one. I really use my Newts.
A major plus for Newts is the use of non-votile RAM, out of power and your
data/pkgs are still there, the TG50 'warns' not to let the batts. drain out.
Alot of people have no problems with Palms, but alot of others have lots of
problems. Try it, see if it works for you, it deoends on 'the user'.
I don't 'push' the Newton platform, I demonstrate what it does and let the
Palm/PPC user decide.
I'll probably get a Clie, just to IrDA with her Clie, OBEX for Newt isn't
working. Hmm, maybe the other IrObex...
