The Voyager-based Newtons definitely support multiple-PCMCIA devices.
In fact, now that I think about it, someone who would parse PCMCIA
tuples himself could handle multiple function cards on NewtonOS 2.0.
BTW, some combo cards do work, but not much.
I checked, ATA Support code definitely iterates on functions until it
finds a fixed disk function. However, it might conflict with other
drivers concerning the power management since I (at least at some
time I did) bypass the system stuff there.
