From the iPodHacks site (credit MacSurfer):
The community has remained active over the years and certain dedicated folks
have labored to keep the platform viable. To cite a few examples, an ATA
driver has been developed as well as a web server package, not to mention
iSync-like iApp syncing as well as plenty of other general applications that
are still being released. Did you know that Apple's Inkwell handwriting
recognition technology in OS X came directly from the Newton?
One of the more interesting finds, however, is Eric Schneck's iTunes Plug-in
for Newton.
