Yeah, I got side tracked by Marty's comments.

As for checking AOL email directly, I used Aloha. However, it has been
some time since I last tried it.

If memory serves, you can DL it for a 30 day trial. You might want to
give it a try if you haven't already.

Other than Aloha, I do not know of any way to connect directly to AOL.
