Well, at least they're upfront about it. A few years ago, I visited a
site (long dead, thank God) which dealt with part two of a four-CD set
of (computer) mod music (Mod Anthology).

Every time I went to this particular site on my Mac, the page would
almost load, then refresh. After it did that several times, I got it
to load enough so that I could read the source. In the source was a
browser sniffer, which basically said something along the lines of

     "If platform = "Macintosh"
         refresh
      End If"

Talk about annoying ...! It's not like their (vaporware) CD wouldn't
work on my system (the first one does just fine, thankyouverymuch) ....

Hmmm ... now I'm jonesing for some U4IA tunes ....! :o)
