I wonder whether a programmer out there would want to write something that incorporates some of the functionality of Director, the driving directions application. I'm thinking that it would be helpful if one could go to, for example MapQuest, look up directions, then e-mail them to yourself. Assuming the e-mail doesn't use stationery that causes problems with mail clients, it would be nice to use "Put Away" to get the e-mail into the driving directions program, which in turn could perhaps parse the text of the e-mail into separate steps, and then function like Director. I depend more on the written directions than the maps given by the web sites.
Just a thought.
