Your question has been answered already, but I can't resist posting the link
to the World Electric Guide to the list.

This guide answers this and most other questions you would have when
traveling with electrical equipment.

Subject: [NTLK] [Semi-OT] UK & European Power Plugs

Hello all,

I'm planning a trip to London & Cambridge next week. I'd like to work
with my Newton and my PowerBook, hence I'm wondering: would my French
plugs (aka European plugs) work or should I get some adapter? I
vaguely recall it fitted more or less, but it's been eons.

Paul
