Brian,
I am desperately trying to find a GPS PC-Card. I've really wanted a PCMCIA
type and not a CF in an adapter. I haven't had any success so far which
brings me to ask you...
How do you like it? How did you produce your maps? *How much memory do the
required packages take*? What do you think it does well and doesn't? How are
you using the GPS, for hiking, for driving waypoints? Any other comments you
can make.
Many thanks for a reply!
Regards,
Paul Curtis

How often do you hook a GPS to your desktop? :)
My GPS is all PCMCIA (even for the Newt), though (that Haicom CF card
that someone mentioned here, it is NCIE , is WAAS capable, and runs a
very long time if I use the battery Newton's battery booster pack.
Highly recommended if you need this (and this plus the Newt is doing
the job of a $300 handheld GPS for me, for $100). Which is math I like.
