I was wrong when I said that the DCL would compile with gcc 2.9x as
this compiler is not standard compliant and does not like several
things in the DCL that are nevertheless completely correct. I sent
you the details privately and I have just fixed the DCL so now it
*does* compile with gcc 2.95.3.
