Hi Bruce,
I've been thinking along the AgendA route myself but you're ahead of me.
There is a utility called (IIRC) serkey that allows you to use a serial
ASCII source as a keyboard. As an alternative, the standard keyboard
protocol has been documented but it requires a short negotiation between
the Newt and the keyboard before the Newt will recognise it. From then
on, the Newt is expecting keycodes. I may be possible to duplicate these
steps on the AgendA using its BASIC.
