Could you do a little test and simply send a PostScript file raw to the
printer, e.g. from a Linux or Windows box? Under Linux, you could use
netcat:
cat <file to print> | nc <printer ip address> <printer port>
I'm not sure about the port... maybe 9100 or 515? You should use a
small PS file in case it comes out as text ;)
