Hi, my recently purchased newton 2100 came with some software.
I would like to find out if they are now in the public domain. If they
are I would like to send a copy to unna.org to share them with the rest
of the mac community.
Maybe I should just go to unna.org to verify this, but the a post is
always good as it may bring up some ideas favoring our community as a
whole.
Here is what I have
"Power Trans" by travel concept solutions, distributed on a CD
"Bills to Pay Pro" by MAR Software, distributed on 4 floppy disks
I also have a floppy disk for a hardware device called FreeKey.
This product describes itself as a Serial Keyboard Interface for Newton
• Connects to any IBM PC keyboard or Apple ADB Keyboard via the Newton
Serial Port
(also for barcode scanners and magnetic card readers)
• works also as a battery pack (4 AA rechargeable batteries)
The disk label reads
DOS
Software für Newton - Tastaturschnittstelle
FreeKey.PKG
