No, actually, I use a serial cable for installing packages. The Ethernet
card is so I can (theoretically) get online while at home, or away from a
wireless network, and it's also proven useful for performing backups. I say
theoretically because I haven't had much occasion to use it. Hopefully soon
I'll have more time to become familiar with my emate and make it a regular
part of my day.
