_This_ is why it's worth buying a 4 megabyte linear flash card. I use
mine exclusively for backups. I backup before doing anything drastic
(such as backing up to the computer, or attempting a sync, or
installing something that may take my Newton down). I don't store
anything on it but backups and some emergency software. It's worth the
money, IMO.
