It would be a great step forward if more companies would actually use
a 1-cable idea. But one has to wonder - why hasn't HP or some other
*big* computer manufacturer made another "1-cable" spec, submitted it
to IEEE, and either licensed it to other companies, or eve gave it away
(although that's anathema in the current intellectual property
climate). Unless Apple has some overlly-broad patent on such cables.
