Installation is really straightforward. The only reason that it
would alter the dimensions of your Newt is is if you don't get it
pressed into the connector right and it creates a little bulge. If
you make sure not to do that, you'll have no problems. There's space
in the Newt that was reserved for (I believe, though the chance of me
being wrong isn't as low as I tell myself) an internal modem or
something of that nature.
