Yes NewtPaint is a nice draging program. I *think* there is a demo on
UNNA. It is also still being sold by
http://www.landware.com/catalog/newton/ And well worth the price.
However now that I look at it, I don't see any "scratchy" brushes.
Although you could create some via clipart and stamp them that way.
There is a package called Newton Graphics Package which allows tool
development
