Done! It has the thoroughly confidence-inspiring 'Wireless' as the
brand, and 'WLAN PC Card as the type. Annoyingly it seems to be the
only PC24E-11-FC/R variant I can find that has 3.3v ticked on the back
as well as 5v; I wonder if there is a company churning out cheap copies
and ripping off the FCCID etc of the real Agere cards, or if it's just
an unbranded OEM card.

Either way, if it works I'll be delighted, if it doesn't, I guess it's
back to searching for one that does.
