[NTLK] Courier connection slip

Just trying to get my Emate on the internet using a dial-up modem and coming
across a wee problem I have:

1. Installed the files for NIE2 and the files for Courier.
2. Created a connection after tapping Internet Setup
3. Slipped in the modem
4. Changed the prefs in Courier for the Connection Slip to always show.
5. Reset the emate
6. Started Courier but no connection slip appears!

Anybody got an idea what to do next?
